Dr Anna Sib
Marie Sklodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Researcher
I joined the GBernardes group in Cambridge as a Marie-Curie funded Postdoctoral Researcher in May 2020 where I am part of an interdisciplinary team working on the development and design of site-selective drugs combined with targeted delivery. Previously in April 2019, I joined the Institute of Chemical Research in Catalunya (ICIQ) as a postdoctoral researcher performing methodology studies on the Hofmann-Martius rearrangement and working on the enantioselective total synthesis of alkaloid natural products.
In April 2019 I obtained a doctoral degree from the Technical University of Munich, Germany after working on chemo-enzymatic total syntheses of sorbicillinoid natural products. I obtained my Masters in (organic) chemistry from the University of Bonn, Germany in 2015.
Areas of expertise:
Organic synthesis, (bio-)catalysis, analytical chemistry
